Hello all!! Welcome to the 2011 TOOLS blog! I'm looking forward to leading several groups again this summer! I hope you and your friends have signed up :D! I anticipate being stretched further in this journey alongside those living on the margins, as we unpack further what it means to live faithfully in a world that is riddled with power struggles and injustice, most often at the expense of those who are most fragile and vulnerable. I look forward to more deliberation on issues of classicism, racism, sexism and ageism as we learn from the experiences of those who have lived under difficult circumstances most of their lives, and try to understand the root causes of poverty, as we serve among those who struggle with daily existence. Stay tuned for photos and reflections on the TOOLS experiences of the groups this spring/summer.
